First Aid Tents for CID Events
IDEC provides comprehensive medical support for community events, festivals, and gatherings. Our trained EMTs and fully equipped first aid tents ensure rapid response for any medical emergencies during public events.
Services include: On-site medical monitoring, emergency response, certain treatments, and coordination with local emergency services when needed.
Community Training Programs
CPR & First Aid Training
We offer certified CPR and first aid training specifically designed for community members and organizations throughout the CID. Our programs empower residents with life-saving skills tailored to our neighborhood's unique needs.
Program features: Multilingual instruction (Offered languages TBD), hands-on practice with mannequins and equipment, certification upon completion, and customized training for organizational needs.
Street Medicine Initiatives
Weekly Evening Street Medicine Patrols
IDEC volunteers patrol the streets of the CID providing basic medical care, health education, and connection to resources for our neighbors and community members.
Patrol schedule: TBD, covering all major blocks in the CID. Our volunteers carry basic medical supplies, warm clothing, and hygiene kits to distribute as needed.
Emergency Equipment Access
AED Placement for Buildings
IDEC helps CID businesses, community centers, and residential buildings install and maintain Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). We provide equipment placement guidance, staff training on AED use, and regular maintenance checks.
Benefits: Reduced response time during cardiac emergencies, increased building safety, and compliance with emergency preparedness standards.
Essential Medical Supplies
We maintain a stock of essential medical supplies donated by community partners, available to CID residents and organizations in need. Our supply program ensures that basic medical necessities remain accessible to all community members.
Available supplies: Bandages, gloves, antiseptics, wound care materials, basic over-the-counter medications, and specialized items for chronic condition management.
